Studies have shown 50-70% of all persons with heart disease have a CoQ10 deficiency. Research indicates that CoQ10 may be of benefit for individuals with cardiovascular diseases such as angina, mitral valve prolapse, hypertension, and congestive heart failure. Other tests indicate it may stregthen the heart muscle, aid circulation and lower blood pressure. When angina patients supplement with CoQ10, they experienced less pain and greater endurance; cardiomyopathy patients showed dramatic improvement, but when they temporarily discontinued CoQ10, heart function again deteriorated. Deficiences of CoQ10 have been linked to heart disease and heart attacks, periodontal disease and diabetes.
CoQ10 is not the latest nutritional fad. While the popularity of coq10 has grown in recent years, it is not new to science. It was first isolated by Dr. Frederick Crane and his associates at the University of Wisconsin in 1957. Over thirty years ago, a biomedical scientist at the University of Texas in Austin, Dr Kark Folkers, found coq10 deficiencies in the hearts if patients with different types of heart disease. Folkers, considered the father of coq10 predicted that oral supplementation of coq10 to those suffering with heart disease would strenghthen the heart and energize the cardiovascular system.
Another group of people who may reap tremendous benefits from supplementation of coq10, an essential compound in normal fat and energy metabolism are those suffering with cardiovascular diseases such as: angina, nitral valve prilapse, hypertension and congestive heart failure. CoQ10 seems to help with allergies, asthma, respiratory disease, and hearing disorders. It may also help with obesity, candidilases, multiple sclerosis, periodontal disease and diabetes.
A FANTASTIC supplement that everyone should take.
